Dozens of Palestinians on Friday choked on tear gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) when they quelled the weekly demonstration in Kafr Qaddum village near Qalqilya.
Local sources said that the IOF attacked the peaceful protesters with live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters.

The protesters chanted slogans condemning the Israeli settlers’ daily attacks in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
They also called on the Israeli authorities to open Kafr Qaddum’s main road that has been closed for 16 years in favor of a nearby settlement.
