77 Palestinians were wounded, 31 with live fire, by the Israeli occupation fire during the 80th Friday of the Great Return March, east of Gaza Strip, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said.
The Israeli occupation forces continue the violence against the non-violent Palestinians demonstrators, including children and women, during the consecutive marches of return every week near the separation fence between Gaza and Israeli occupation.
Demonstrators demand an end to Israel’s 12-year-old blockade to the Gaza Strip, which has shattered the coastal enclave’s economy and deprived its two million inhabitants of free movement in and out from Gaza and prevented many basic amenities.
Since the beginning of the weekly marches, the Israeli occupation forces have killed 334 Palestinians and injured over 32,000. Israeli occupation is still holding the bodies of 16 Palestinians who were killed in the marches.
