The Higher National Committee for the March of Return and Breaking the Siege has called on the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to hold an urgent meeting to address the wave of normalization with the Israeli occupation state.
This came in a news conference held by member of the Committee Mahmoud Khalaf at the end of the March of Return rallies on Friday.
“We reiterate our outright rejection of any form of normalization with the occupation because it is considered a stab in the back of the national cause and support for the suspicious deal of the century,” Khalaf said.
He stressed the need to thwart normalization attempts in the region and prevent the occupation state from penetrating Arab and Muslim societies.
The Palestinian official also denounced foreign minister of Oman Yousef bin Alawi for asking the Arab countries to dispel Israel’s concerns about its future, stressing that the Palestinian people, especially those in Occupied Jerusalem, are the party that need to be reassured that the Arab nation would not normalize relations with the occupation or forsake their holy sites.
He accused the US administration of attempting to impose the Israeli occupation state on Arab countries and push them to normalize relations with it in order to remove any obstacles barring it from executing its plans to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
