A number of Palestinian children on Wednesday suffered breathing difficulties as a result of inhaling tear gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) near their kindergarten during a Ramallah raid.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that medical crews attended to a number of children who suffered panic and suffocation in the attack.
The IOF raided a nearby apartment where the member of Fatah’s Revolutionary Council Zakaria al-Zubeidi and the lawyer of the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission Tareq Barghout were present. Both were arrested.
The Red Crescent said that although the IOF soldiers tried to prevent the medical staff from reaching the injured children, the latter insisted on entering the kindergarten and evacuating the victims.
